Our client is a major European space and aerospace technology group developing advanced satellite systems, ground infrastructures, and mission-critical technologies for institutional and commercial programs worldwide.

The organization contributes to large-scale European programs in Earth observation, satellite operations, security, and data processing, delivering highly reliable systems that combine cutting-edge engineering with rigorous quality and verification standards.

To support the growth of its software verification and satellite ground systems activities, the company is expanding its engineering team and is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess the testability of software requirements
  • Develop and execute test procedures and test scripts for front-end and back-end systems (manual and automated)
  • Perform software verification and validation activities
  • Prepare technical documentation related to testing and verification activities
  • Create and monitor test statistics and quality metrics
  • Support project managers with planning activities and project progress reporting
  • Contribute to the definition, development, and continuous improvement of processes, tools, and technologies within the engineering department

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in software testing and verification environments
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (C# or other).
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and ITIL processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Structured, autonomous, and proactive working approach
  • Ability to take ownership and make decisions in technical environments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for test campaigns
  • Fluency in German is required
  • Good English communication skills are highly appreciated
