About the Role
We are currently seeking an EMC Analysis & Test Engineer to join the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineering department in Bremen.
The position focuses on ensuring that satellite systems and their electronic subsystems operate without electromagnetic interference. You will support satellite programs throughout the entire development lifecycle, from early design phases to system integration and final testing before launch.
This is a technically demanding role with strong system-level impact across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support of satellite projects from the pre development phase up to flight readiness
- Analysis of system requirements and flow down of EMC & Grounding requirements at Spacecraft and equipment level
- Production and maintenance of EMC relevant documentation (EMC control plan, analyses, specifications, test procedures, reports and design descriptions)
- Planning and execution EMC tests at unit, subsystem and system level
- Technical coordination of EMC relevant task with customers, vendors and subcontractors
- Cooperation with project team, system engineering and other divisions
- Presentation of work results internally and in front of the customer
Your Profile
- University degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, communications technology/high-frequency technology or comparable qualifications
- Professional experience in phase B/C/D in satellite EMC task
- Experience with phase B/C/D hardware projects in the area of satellite systems
- Familiar with EMC analysis and simulation tools
- Flexible, with a sense of responsibility, able to work independently
- Fluency in spoken and written English
