We are seeking a Sales Director – Intelligence Satellite Data with a strong hunter mentality — from identifying new opportunities and engaging key government and defense stakeholders to leading negotiations and closing contracts.

You will play a critical role in expanding our presence across the Mexico and LATAM region, working with government entities, defense organizations, intelligence agencies, and strategic commercial clients to deliver satellite imagery, geospatial intelligence, and advanced Earth Observation data solutions.

We are hiring on behalf of an international leader in satellite-based Earth Observation and advanced satellite imagery technology, employing more than 500 people. The company operates commercial satellite constellations and delivers critical insights to clients across sectors such as defence, intelligence, maritime, insurance, disaster management, environmental monitoring, and finance.

Expected outcomes & requirements

Outcomes:

Commercially successful:
Winning new business in the stated regions, expanding adoption of satellite imagery and geospatial intelligence solutions in line with commercial targets.

Influential:
Building strong networks within relevant organisations in the region, including government agencies, defence organisations, intelligence services, and key industry partners.

Aligned:
Engaging with internal product roadmaps and growth plans to ensure commercial strategies align with evolving satellite data capabilities and market opportunities.


Role-specific competences:

  • 5+ years of sales experience within the Aerospace, Defense, Space, or Geospatial industry
  • 5+ years of international sales or export experience
  • Experience selling satellite imagery, geospatial intelligence, or Earth Observation data solutions
  • Experience with Earth Observation technologies, preferably SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar)
  • Existing network within government, defense, intelligence, or security organisations in your market
  • Experience executing complex strategic sales processes and managing full sales cycles
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with government and institutional clients
  • Ability to speak the local language
